I had a great experience with Dr. Wong and his assistant. I felt comfortable and that my pet's needs were well understood. He took the time to explain our plan going forward and answered all of my questions. I feel as though my 16 year old feline is in good hands.

Amie here again from the review below… I have emailed the email I was told to email and I have not heard back. I was told I would get contacted in up to 5 days, it’s been a month. Again my puppy is doing wonderful! But I need to know the reason of why we were told my dog would die if we didn’t put him down and why my husband was not able to get the X-ray results to show the other vet we went to… again I am very upset that we were told to put our puppy down and my puppy is doing great! You are to care for animals but didn’t care to give us any other options besides put him down!

Always great with our pets, reasonable prices, we always get a good outcome for our four-legged family members.

This is a caring location. Not the cleanest but good service

On 5/30 our 12 week old pitbull puppy was breathing funny, vomiting blood, lethargic, not eating or drinking, no bowel movement and we rushed him to a emergency vet hospital where they wanted to run labs and X-rays and it would have costed about 3000 aside from treatment. They gave him IV fluids for dehydration and some antibiotics for nausea and vomiting. That night my puppy was not improving so we made an appointment for him to see a vet here for the next day. 5/31 we had an appointment at 2pm and by then my puppy was moving more, bearly started to eat. My husband took our puppy in where they wanted to do a parvo test and X-ray on him, we knew for sure it wasn’t parvo so we declined, we had the vet run X-rays on my puppy and the DR came back so quick with bad news saying my puppy had pneumonia, fluid in both lungs and stomach, Peritonitis and perforated bowel… that my puppy needs to go into emergency surgery costing $7000-$15000… we are expecting a baby next month and we just don’t got that on hand right now, my husband told the doctor we couldn’t afford that, the Dr then said the next best thing to do is to Euthanasia my puppy which would be $500… the surgery would only be a 50% chance to save my puppy. That was the worst news we could have got. My husband and I were in a tough spot but something told me to tell my husband to bring my puppy home. We went against what that “DR” said and brought our puppy home to shower him with love, after that “DR” said that my puppy had a couple-few days left. Our hearts were broken, and we couldn’t stop crying. Our puppy came home that same day, we continued the antibiotics from the first vet and he slowly began to eat more and drink water, he started to walk more, no more vomiting and he looked more alert. My husband came home and called another vet (who was closed at the time but they answered!) my husband explained the whole thing and the DR there said it didn’t make sense what the “DR” at Banfield told us. He told us to bring our puppy in first thing tomorrow morning, no appointment required and that he would examine our puppy. So that night and until the morning we noticed my puppy getting better. On 6/1 we took our puppy to the other vet and he examined my puppy, he said my puppy had no fluid in the stomach, he did not have what that “DR” from Banfield said he had. The Dr advised us to continue antibiotics and change his food because it could be that my puppy could have inhaled his dry food and caused pneumonia which cures itself in 3 weeks. My puppy is now home with his siblings happy as can be, playful full of life! That vet didn’t charge us anything and even gave us some can of foods for my puppy to try. Never any I bringing my puppy back to Banfield! What if I wouldn’t have trusted my gut and put my puppy down! I’m so glad I got another opinion! That’s so called DR is Hanxiao Wang! Update 6/22 I sent them an email like they asked me to, it’s been 1.5 week and no reply!
