Not the average review — I am brand-new to the area, moved here two weeks ago. Yesterday I found an abandoned puppy on the side of the road. I kept him overnight, but could not keep him due to a two pet limit at my apartment complex. After calling around to the multiple shelters and being turned down, I was exasperated but thought I would keep him and just hide him until i could get him to my family in Washington state. He needed a check up so I called the Boulevard vet clinic. The girls at the front desk were absolutely wonderful. Not only did they say that I could bring him in for an exam, but they informed me that one of the partners of the vet clinic runs a nonprofit that helps pull dogs from high kill shelters, place them in foster homes and then send them up east coast for adoption. I really really wanted to keep this adorable baby, and I brought him in for a check up. But, it was in his best interest to give him to the rescue. Everyone was so wonderful when I brought him in, everyone was playing with him and I could tell that he was going to be well taken care of. Everyone was so kind there knowing that I had grown attached to him and let me take my time and say goodbye to him and assured me that he was in good hands. One of the front desk gals also showed me a stack of papers that were all the animals they had rescued in the past year. It broke my heart to leave him there but I’m so glad I called there and they helped me and baby Winston. I will definitely be bringing my cats there for their check up!

It was our dog's first time and apparently it was nothing stressful for her. Attention was fast and professional. Cleanliness was above and beyond

Absolutely the greatest vet clinic I have been to hands down. All four of my animals go there. My cat Joey had an appointment this morning. The last time he had gone to the vet (Eubanks), we were not allowed to go back with him. We had expressed concern multiple times that he would not do well in a room with strangers. He came back out to us with two broken, bloody toenails and a scratch on his face. They told us they had ‘never seen a cat run up the walls’ to which we asked ‘how long have you been a vet?’ After that, the receptionist was horribly rude to us because she saw that our cat was Joey. We tried the boulevard next, as since joey’s last vet visit we got a puppy and switched vets with her. We explained to them what had happened, and they were all extremely caring. The receptionist got us in a room (yes, I got to go in with him) and we waited. When the vet and tech came in, they explained to me that there were measures we could take to calm him if needed. They kept Joey in the same spot the whole time, and there was a lot of petting! He did great when they gave him his shots and when the vet looked in his mouth. I am extremely surprised that Joey did so well given his last experience. And I believe it is because of the great care The Boulevard gave!

Dr. Bierbaum and his veterinary technician Nathan are so caring and compassionate. We recently had our greyhound in for enucleation on an eye that has been bothering him for years. He’s not only getting back to his normal self, but even better than before within days of his operation. We were given all of the things we needed to keep him comfortable after his operation. Dr. Bierbaum readily answers any questions you may have as a panicked pet parent. We don’t trust anyone else with our pets that we love like family.
